FS2024

Anyone know how many AI-models MSFS2024 has?
Seems like a lot, I even saw an MD-11, but overall liveries for many, if not most airlines are missing. Maybe FS Traffic 2024 could add liveries and whatever airplanes that are not available in the base sim? I saw the dreaded generic double-decker parked at a gate, it was probably there as an understudy...

@Juan90tf Hi there. Certainly no plans to implement FS Traffic into FS2024 as part of the main sim. No current plans to offer FS Traffic as an add-on for the sim but never say never on that front.
What are you seeing and thinking of how Ai Traffic works in the new sim currently?

Hi there,
It's a real shame that FS Traffic won’t be implemented in MSFS 2024, as I really enjoy using it in MSFS 2020 and find it adds so much to the immersion of the sim.
Regarding the AI traffic in MSFS 2024, I have to say I find it quite disappointing so far. It has a significant impact on performance, eating up a lot of frames, and the AI behavior feels very unintelligent and in need of serious improvements.

It's a bit chaotic in the control tower, but I guess the developers can solve that. However, liveries and call signs are missing and due to MS policy on licensing all logos and names, they'll probably never be added. I've also seen the dreaded 4 engine double decker with generic livery.
If you could add all the missing liveries and callsigns and missing plane models, you have a nice product! Maybe it would be possible for you to batch process liveries to the new models?
Hopefully it's possible for 3rd parties to evolve on the new traffic system...?

Would also like to add, that with the dynamic graphics settings, I see almost no performance degradation with AI-traffic. It's also a very welcome step in the right direction to not have to manage or think about AI-traffic any more. Or, to put it in another manner, I think about it each time I see a generic plane and when the tower lose control. If you'd be able to fix/improve on that, I would gladly pay quite a lot, even if there are very few new custom models compared to the default assets. But I really don't want to spend time to manage and compile a livery database, even if it was free by download at Flightsim.to, so if it would be possible for you to ingest and curate a livery collection, I'm ready to buy.

@GunStrauss Me too! Especially, if FS Traffic would add GA traffic.
-
@GunStrauss For the big international ones, correct. But the majority of airports is medium size and the traffic is heavily mixed. There FS24 is providing a better experience. But the traffic behaves wrong. Thus, the precision of FS Traffic + GA would be really nice to have. But first, FS Traffic needs to be transfered at all. One step after another... ;-)
-
Understand, partially, as I guess the only reason why only big international airports seem correct, is that you don't notice strange variety of GA aircrafts there, but it stands out at smaller airports?
Then, just my two cents, as I've only read the limited information about traffic in the SDK and know nothing about the inner workings of FS Traffic:
-
I belive Asobo and Microsoft are the ones who can manage to get the AI-system to properly function. (report traffic behaviour issues you see to them, as precise and concretely as possible)
-
I belive a third party will be needed to get all relevant liveries and aircraft types to be represented in MSFS 2024
