Isn't the button on the glareshield supposed to light up like the one in the 146 does?

It's tough to find in the dark. Ha!

The Big Yellow/Orange "SPLR" annunciator on either side?
They should only illuminate if the Spoilers have failed to deploy when they're supposed to. There's a delay of a few seconds before they illuminate.
