Anti Ice and Ignition

If the engine ignition is switched on the engine anti ice green memo also illuminates even if the engine anti ice is switched off. Is this correct?

Yes, this is expected logic. The ENG A-ICE ON caption on the CSP will illuminate whenever any ENG ANT-ICE switch is ON, or when an intake ant-ice valve is open with the ENG ANT-ICE switch OFF. This allows for the detection of an intake valve that may have failed in the open position. If a valve fails to open, the caption will remain illuminated when the ENG ANT-ICE switch is selected OFF.
