Pressurization
-
I set the landing field altitude and had engine air on. Climbing through about 12000, and I get a pressurization alarm. I look at the pressurization panel and it’s descending as I climb. What did I do wrong?

Are the Packs on?

@TrailerSwift89 yes. Do you believe they should be off?

In order for the aircraft to pressurise, PACKS 1 and 2 should both be on whenever the aircraft is airborne (they're usually selected on in the after start checklist).
In addition to the PACKS switches, the APU AIR or ENG AIR switches must be switched on depending on the air source being used for the pressurisation.
There are a few other factors that could cause the aircraft not to pressurise, such as the pressurisation panel being in the "MAN" position (normally left in the AUTO) or a failure of the pressurisation system (if random failures are enabled on the EFB).

Has anyone else had problems with pressurization issues. I have tried everything to get the plane to pressurize. I have packs on, app air on. I've also tried all engine switches on and app air off, im also in auto. But I can never pressurize. Cabin air is always the same as altitude. Also outflow switch is normal, but the outflow valves are always open. As the green lights are one. Am I missing something? Thanks
