Using the UNS-1 in the BAE146 blocks the use of VFR flight type in the sim. You cannot communicate with the sims ATC. Just hoping this plane will work completely with both IFR and VFR flight mode selections.
The GNLU-910A FMS in the RJ doesn't feature any MSFS Flight Plan integration, so the destination airport and flight plan type selected in the main menu is what will be used by the in-game ATC.
@Mark , perfect. Thanks for the clarification. I know I'm well out of the norm from most users but the sims IFR ATC is awful and was one of the reasons for my limited use of the 146. I think I will replace it with the RJ now.
