The altitude hold button on the central control cannot be assigned to my vpc mongoost-50cm3 throttle?

hi,
i can't control my virpil throttle with the ‘altitude hold’ button on the central control
panel of the f28 professional? what is the ingame command for this in msfs 2020? all other assignments work.

The Altitude Hold in the F28 can be toggled on/off using the TOGGLE AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE HOLD control assignment.

the TOGGLE AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE HOLD now works (this was already defined in the ingame settings...and worked before).
but i expressed myself incorrectly, namely when i press the altitude hold mode, there is no switch animation, i.e. the switch in the glareshield remains OFF when i switch???

I have just tested this on my side and triggering the TOGGLE AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE HOLD is engaging the ALT HOLD mode and the button can be seen animating and illuminating.

Can you confirm that you are testing this with the autopilot engaged? As the autopilot buttons will not illuminate if the autopilot is not engaged.
