Stairway lights always on

I was watching some of the Just Flight tutorials and preview videos again and I see that they can turn their stairway lights on and off. I, on the other hand, cannot. All of the switches are off, but the stairway lights remain lit. What have I missed?

It doesn’t shut them off. That was my point. All switches on the panel off, stair lights still on

I also seem to have this issue, I even tried to pull all the circuit breakers but they were still on. And when it's dark outside there's this weird dim light throughout the cabin of the plane even though it's powered down, that weird dim cabin light also bleeds into the cockpit even with the door closed.
