Cabin animation and potable water consumption during flight seems only to happen when the boarding process is "standard". Opening manually any other service door during boarding, or changing from ground power to APU power, seems to overrule (cancel) the cabin animation later on during the flight.
Some investigation on this topic might be required. -
Thank you for reporting this. We do have a bug logged for the service doors potentially preventing any further potable water consumption during the flight, and it's something we will investigate ahead of the next update to the 146 Professional.
