The new Simbrief Profile weights do not match the weights listed in the 146 manual:

    146-100
Empty weight 52,510 lb (23,818 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 24108 KG
Maximum zero fuel weight 71,576 lb (32,466 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 31071 KG

    146-200
    Empty weight 54,230 lb (24,598 kg)SIMBRIEF PROFILE 24966 KG
Maximum zero fuel weight 79,067 lb (35,864 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 34745 KG

    146-300
Empty weight 56,530 lb (25,642 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 26009 KG
Maximum zero fuel weight 84,200 lb (38,192 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 36514
Maximum take-off weight 97,500 lb (44,225 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 45132
Maximum landing weight 86,000 lb (39,009 kg) SIMBRIEF PROFILE 39236

Could you advise which ones are correct please?

    I noticed that too.
For BAe 146-200 , the Empty Weight is 24598 kg in SimBrief. But the EFB shows 24966 kg , which i feel is not correct.
In the flight_model.cfg file i found empty_weight=48886 which is neither lbs or kg.
Changing this figure to 48075 shows a correct EW (24598kg) in the EFB.
Pax , cargo and fuel weights are inserted correctly.

I wonder where that figure 48886 is coming from. Martyn ?

The differences are due to us simulating crew weight (pilots and cabin crew or freight crew depending on the variant) in the flight model cfg file. SimBrief doesn't account for crew weight in their OFP, just empty weight + pax weight + cargo weight + fuel weight, so we have added the crew weight to the empty weight to reach the correct figure.

Note that we also simulate the engine weights via the payload section of the flight model cfg file to give us more control over their position and the CG, and therefore the empty weight value in that cfg file doesn't include engine weight.

Thanks for the info Martyn. Its very useful to know the Operational Empty Weight. Incidentally I think the Manual has the 146-100 length, in Meters wrong, as its almost identical to the 146 200 length in Meters and doesn't seem to be a correct conversion from the length in feet.

Okay, can anyone comfirm which data is now the one that resembles the aircraft we actually fly in MSFS? The one from the manual, the profile template on simbrief or the one mentioned here by Martyn?
I am a bit confused now.... because I changed it to the ones mentioned in this post by Martyn and did get an MZFW overload with the simbrief import...

My list above matches the SimBrief profiles that we have put together: https://support.justflight.com/a/solutions/articles/17000140885

Those match what you'll see in the aircraft in MSFS (on the EFB).

We're in the process of getting our profiles added to the default list on SimBrief.
