Engine start switch sometimes needs resetting
-
Hello!
On engine start it occured that engines 4,3,2 begin the startup (eng spooling up, starter lights on,...) normal when pushing the start switch. But engine 1 needs either three or more pushes to startup, or is only working when resetting the start selector to off and back to eng 1.It also happened on other engines, but mostly on eng 1 after starting the other engines in sequence.
Is there anything one can do wrong? Or maybe a bug?
Thank you!

@Rhinozherous Do you recall in which direction you were moving the engine start switch? It's a three-position switch (START/RUN/MOTOR) and it needs to be moved to the START position in order for the engine to start. If it's moved to the MOTOR position, then the engine may appear not to be starting.
Other than that, the only other reason I can think of for only one engine not starting is either the respective fuel pump is not switched ON on the overhead panel, or the respective throttle is still in the FUEL OFF position.

@Mark I will check again in which direction the switch moves exactly, but I always selected "Start" (Up). The problem is that the whole start sequence is not beginning, when it happens.
I wil check again abd report here, and maybe I can catch it on video.
Thank you
