V2 Pax weight wrong after turnaround and massive overfill of aft cargo
-
Hi there,
During a turnaround i noticed the UNS switched the pax weight to 2kg per passenger and underfilled the amount. The loading system then decided to fix the discrepancy created to reach the required ZFW by massively overfilling the aft cargo. I was able to fix this by changing the ZFW field manually and restarting boarding.

@Jpol This isn't something we have seen before so we may need some extra info to try and replicate this.
Could you let us know how you set the weights on the EFB? Were the weights entered manually on the aircraft page, or were they imported from a Simbreif flight plan? Also, was GSX used for boarding and if so, was the "GSX Boarding" option enabled on the EFB?

I imported from Simbrief and used GSX Boarding with the option enabled. I did fly last night too and did not get this bug on the -100. This flight was on the -200. I will likely try to replicate this tomorrow for you. I can also send you the simbrief plan if it's of any assistance.

@Jpol Thanks for letting us know. If you could send us the Simbrief OFPs it would be interesting for us to see what was generated on the OFP for that flight.
I'm also wondering if the ZFW may not have been synced between the EFB and GSX on that flight where the issue occurred (maybe one or the other didn't have the OFP weights imported). I'll list the method I personally use below that has been reliable for me:
- Generate an OFP on Simbrief.
- Load a flight in the same 146 variant as listed on the OFP.
- Set up the aircraft ready for boarding.
- On the EFB, go to the OFP page and check the OFP list matches the one you generated on SimBrief.
- On the EFB, go to the AIRCRAFT page, and when prompted click "IMPORT" to import the OFP weights into the flashing data fields.
- On the EFB, go to the configuration menu and check that "GSX Boarding" is enabled.
- Open the GSX menu and begin boarding through the GSX menu.
Let us know if this occurs again and if it does, could you post your OFP so we can try and replicate that on our end?

@Jpol Thanks for posting the OFP. Could you let us know how the weights varied in the simulator, versus how they are listed on that OFP? Was it the same as you previously reported where the passenger weights were lower than what was listed on the OFP, but the cargo weights were higher?
Could you also let us know if this was on the second flight of a session (i.e. after a turnaround), and were you using GSX for boarding/deboarding?
