Not really a journey. We 'got there' two years ago - it's the MSFS-XBoxS relationship that we are trying to work around. However, we are plugging away and, when we have some news, we will make an announcement.

The dev team has been at the flight sim show in America last week but no news at the moment.
With luck we will submit a new build next week and see if that is any better.

Scott posted this at the weekend about FS Traffic on the FB discussion about F28 for Xbox:
"... ideally it would have been released for Xbox a long time ago. The truth is it's becoming very problematic to get our add-ons working successfully on Xbox, hence the delay here and on other projects. Pointless us trying to submit and release it in it's current state, it simply won't work properly and you'd all be very dissatisfied with the outcome. Work has been going on for a while now and several attempts have been made to create a build that will work and satisfy users, all to no avail up until now. A new build was submitted for testing by MS this week. Next week we'll see the results of those tests and if we're successful we can then start to schedule the Xbox release. No guarantees on that, if it doesn't work we'll be turning to about Plan F. With each update of the host sim from MS fresh hope arrives, that's our main focus now, watching those updates. We hope for good news soon, for all of you. Ideally we can then release and move to other projects that are also suffering a similar fate right now. "

Update - that update to MSFS is now not happening until after 2024 releases, so unlikely to able to do much before then.

Has there been any discussion on pivoting from the Xbox version until that update releases and adding new flightplans or models to the existing version instead?

Hello, any chance of FS Traffic returning to the Xbox scene with the arrival of SU16?

Yes, we are hopeful that the Xbox performance optimisations listed in the Sim Update 16 Beta release notes will be those that were initially scheduled to release in a Sim Update last year, but were later postponed. We have also developed further optimisations within the product itself, which will be included in upcoming updates on PC, so we will be thoroughly testing FS Traffic on Xbox once both of these improvements are available.
Unfortunately, we're not able to give any timeframes for this as it's a fairly lengthy process to test products on Xbox consoles and we are not yet sure just how significant the improvements in Sim Update 16 will be, but we want to be fully confident that Xbox consoles (particularly the Series S) can perform at an acceptable level with a realistic amount of traffic generated before committing to a release date.
