    Hi,
This could be a me problem so I will apologise in advance.

First of all does an aircraft need to have a livery to exist and secondly can use already existing liveries for the new airline. Secondly when generating this Airline my computer asks me to enter the call sign which I enter and then displays error message "unhandled exception has occurred in your application". Is this something I am doing wrong on my end?

I have added my own codes and carrier name but I am unable to add it to created schedules as it just suggests the airline with closest code to mine.

    Thanks in advance,
    Oli

When I add a new airline as a new database entry, it appears to be added to the schedule (though sometimes there is nothing in the callsign column). However, when going into the simulator itself, there are no airplanes for the new airline.

Apologies for the belated reply to this thread.

When adding a new airline to an aircraft type in the Aircraft Manager > Liveries page, it must be created with the IATA, ICAO, Carrier Name, and at least one "Livery". Once the "Add" button has been pressed, it will then prompr you to enter a callsign for the airline which will used by the in-game ATC.

Once an aircraft type and a livery exist on the AIrcraft Manager > Livery page, that aircraft and livery can then be assigned to any existing flight on the Schedules Manager page, or can be assigned to a new flight. In order for that flight to show up in the simulator, the details entered in the Schedules Manager must exactly match the details listed in the Aircraft Manager.

For example, if you want to create a flight using a Qantas 737-800, the flight in the Schedules Manager must have the following data inputted - IATA: QF, ICAO: QFA, Aircraft Type: 73H. If any of this does not exactly match what is listed in the Aircraft Manager, then the flight will not generate in the simulator. An easy mistake here is to put the aircraft type as "738" instead of "73H", as the aircraft code will vary depending on how the airline designates its aircraft.

If you are experiencing any "Unhandled Exception" errors when using the Traffic Control Centre, could you kindly raise a ticket with Just Flight support and include a description of how to replicate the error: https://www.justflight.com/support

    I hope that helps.

@Mark Is there a way to examine all the current airlines in the database and what their IATA, ICAO codes are? It would make it easier for assigning new airline codes if we are adding a new one.

@phm112 There is no easy way to see that information from the Traffic Control Centre without going through each individual aircraft type, but you can see a full list of airlines in the "Airlines.xlsx" file located in the following file directory: ...Community\justflight-fstraffic-module\Data\DBs

That spreadsheet will provide a list of all the airlines recognised by FS Traffic and will provide their IATA and ICAO codes. Note FS Traffic does not have aircraft models or liveries for all of the airlines in that spreadsheet, so they won't appear as Ai traffic in the simulator unless a liveries is assigned to them in the Traffic Control Centre.

    Hope that helps.
