ADF navigation

Hi all

I managed to track one, flew to it all ok.
Then tunes into another one, it wouldn't pick it up. Not sure what I did wrong, maybe it's a SIM thing?

What things in the plane can mess it up?

Unfortunately, there can be issues with the ranges of Navaids in the simulator. Some of them work correctly at their published ranges, but a lot of navaids either have too short (or too long) a range set up in the simulator, or aren't able to be picked up at all.

With the Vulcan, if the frequency for the Navaid has been correctly tuned into the ADF/NAV/TACAN radios and the radio is powered, then an indication from the Navaid will be apparent on the instruments once the aircraft is within range.

The range of each of the navaids is controlled within the simulator, so unfortunately, we have no control over that.
