    Could you give us a general idea of what GA aircraft we can expect? It would be awesome if a Gulfstream model is included.

    @TrailerSwift89

    We will make announcements on the usual FS news sites and post up a spec in our In Development section once we have finalised content and so forth.

      @Supersym Why was you dissapointed? Havent heard unsatisfied users until now. Upcoming update included possibilty to refuel you jet fighter with a tanker. And acrobatics also included. Have a test, you wont be dissapointed.

      @Corsten

      because of that :

      @ACSoft said in GA Traffic, approximative release date:

      @Mark While testing this GAmod, I hit the problem of airport addons with inappropriate aircraft spots definitions, which result with small GA aircrafts to be placed on commercial aircraft positions, which is obviouly bad ! Even crippling would I say !

      I really hope that future GA feature of FS Traffic, will have a possibility to avoid these problems by excluding these spots or even the whole airport !

      If not, will the GA feature be almost optional ?

        @Supersym Ok, it is indeed problem with AI GA traffic if 3rd party airport is badly presented. For example LIPA has stock 98ft radious in every parking spots, so bigger cargo aircraft doesent spawn there.

          @Corsten, it is not only if 3rd party airport "is badly presented". If you take the case of my example case of Simvol LFKJ, it is "GA medium" spots which are prioritized (chosen) to place obviously "small" aircraft, when you have a lot of empty "GA small" spots.

          Now, even if I am a former FS-2004 dev, I have no knowledges at all about programming for MSFS 2020. I decided to not plunge in this much to much complex mess (SDK) to my taste ! I can only hope that young devs like you, can found clever solution to overturn these kind of problems !

                May I ask if GA Traffic is abandoned for MSFS 2024?

                  The GA expansion to FS Traffic isn't abandoned, but it is currently on hold for various reasons. The product was being worked on in MSFS 2020, and we did have a functional product being tested by our internal testing team; however, the development team ran into a roadblock following an MSFS 2020 Sim Update that broke some of the core functions that the product was using to control the AI traffic, and it required further investigation.

                  Following the release of MSFS 2024, the majority of our development resources have since been allocated to upgrading all of our MSFS 2020 products to MSFS 2024 native products (the latest status of all of our products can be found here). These upgrades spanning the last year have prevented the development team from working on a workaround for the GA expansion in MSFS 2020, as well as investigating its feasibility in MSFS 2024. Once we are clear of the MSFS 2024 native upgrades of our existing products, we'll be able to take stock and assign resources back to other in-development products, such as the GA expansion.

                  We'll be sure to share more news if/when there is something to share.
