    Hello,

I have just done a reinstall of MSFS onto a different drive. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the F28. For some reason now the APU main power switch is locked into the off position. I am unable to move it. This is the only switch that seems to have this issue. Also when I right click with mouse in F28 I hear a click and all power goes off until I release right mouse button, then all power comes back on. I don't see any switches moving when this happens. I've search for binding issues but can't see anything that is causing this. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Chad

@Wispy That does sound like you may have a controller conflict somewhere that may be causing those issues.

Firstly, if you go to MSFS Options > Controls Options and then search "APU" on each piece of your external hardware, do you have any axis/buttons assigned to those "APU" control assignments? If you do, try deleting those and then loading in the F28 and see if that fixes the issue.

If that doesn't work, do you perhaps have a throttle quadrant that has fuel levers (switches) on it? I have seen instances where because these fuel levers are constantly triggering 'fuel valve' and 'stater' control assignments, right-clicking will cause those control assignments to stop triggering and therefore shut the aircraft's systems down. One way to check this is to try loading into the F28 with your throttle quadrant unplugged from your PC and see if that fixes the issue.

If the above does fix the issue, then we know it must be related to the throttle quadrant's control assignments, and therefore, the following control assignments can be deleted for your throttle quadrant at MSFS Options > Control Options:

    TOGGLE ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE
    TOGGLE ENGINE 2 FUEL VALVE
    SET ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE
    SET ENGINE 2 FUEL VALVE
    SET STARTER 1
    SET STARTER 2

    I hope that helps.

Thank you for the response. It was a hardware binding issue. Not sure exactly what it was, but was fixed when I eventually deleted all keybinds and manually recreated. I'm back in the air!
