Xbox version now available on the Marketplace

@be77solo Unfortunatly, it is a Microsoft policy that no weapons can be included in any release on the marketplace. This is a policy that all developers have to comply by, so we have to remove all weapons in order for the products to be approved for release.
We keep as many payload options as we are allowed on the EFB, so there are still options in the marketplace version to fit the Cylinder Tanks, Saddle Tanks, and MRR Pods, as well as the vast array of equipment options, but the other weapons such as Blue Steel and Mk13 Bombs will only be included in the product if purchased outside of the marketplace.

So why does the manual that comes with the Marketplace version mention the Blue Steel, Mk13 Bombs, AGM-45 Shrike Missiles and the WE.177 Free Fall Bomb? I spent a couple hours trying to figure how to load them, I'm playing on PC, so expected the same experience as what is offered on your product page, advertisement videos etc...
What the path forward for those of us on PC that bought the Marketplace version without being told it was a different version than was originally offered and released? A separate download or something? Is there a link? I understand that won't be an option on Xbox, but zero reason it can't be for PC users.
Thank you

That's something you'd need to take up with MS. We supplied them with the correct spec. The manual is the same one for non-MarketPlace, but we have never supplied different manuals for any of our titles. It affects all military aircraft released on their platform from all developers - not just us.
It may be possible to release a 'weapons patch' for MarketPlace PC users in the future, but, as you point out, that won't work for console owners.

However the bomb weight loading entires are still visible in the menu. It just doesn’t allow you to save the weight to that row item. The issue is now with weight and balance, if you don’t want to fly in tanker configuration. This version should at least provide “generic” load lines to replace the weapons so that we can simulate the weight and balance of such missions. Else all MS has provided is the “Tanker” version of the product, which is not the fully version off the main site we have paid for. This should be clearly communicated.

@jmittiga The Vulcan on the marketplace includes the same three variants as the non-marketplace version: B.2, K.2 and MRR. Each of these variants can be selected and configured in the same realistic configurations in the marketplace product as they can in the non-marketplace product. The only difference between the two products is the inclusion of the weapons, which sadly, is a Microsoft policy that we have to abide by if we want products to be made available on the marketplace.
We are investigating what options we have on our end to supply a patch for PC users who would like to see the weapons in the marketplace product, but at this time we are unable to give any timeframe or a guarantee if this will be possible.

That would be very much appreciated to have the option to get them back for PC users, thanks, hopefully you guys can get that pushed out.

Thanks Mark, a PC patch for us Marketplace buyers that had no idea they were missing would be fantastic. Loving the Vulcan otherwise!
Thank you

A quick update on this, I spoke to the rest of the development team this morning and it looks like we ran into a roadblock with the method we were planning to use to enable the use of the weapons on the marketplace versions of the Vulcan. We do have another method that we think will work but it does require quite a bit of work and updating of the core Vulcan files so we will complete that as part of the next update to the Vulcan.
There is not a date set in stone yet for the next Vulcan update, but there is some work currently on going on some additions to the rest of the product, so the next update shouldn't be too far away.
