Adding new models and liveries to FS Traffic
-
Hello, I am new here. And I have just purchased FS Traffic today, and I love it. But is there a way to add planes to the FS traffic manager ?? I already tried adding some AIG, and FSTL models into the traffic manager, and I am not seeing the new planes I added like for example the 777-200ER, And more 757 liveries.. Is there anything I missed or did wrong ?? do I have to place the AIG and FSTL model in the same airplane folders as the FS traffic fleet folder ??

@CapturingBearing2024 Adding aircraft models and liveries to FS Traffic can be done through the Aircraft Manager page of the Traffic Control Centre, by entering the "Title=" entry from the relevant aircraft.cfg file into the desired field.
A step-by-step guide can be found on Pages 23-25 of the FS Traffic manual: https://downloads.justflight.com/products/JFF003616/FSTraffic_MSFS_manual.pdf
We also have the following video tutorial on your Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/svk7wHXPw54?si=UjSwVBigb5NuToz7
We hope that helps.

Hello, I did the following steps you said and watched that video. And exactly as the video said. I don't see any newly added models and liveries. I need further assistance with this. Thank You.

@CapturingBearing2024 Are you able to provide a screenshot of the Aircraft Manager page showing the aircraft you are trying to add to the schedules?
With regards to your question about the file location of the Ai aircraft, as long as you have the Ai model that you wish to use correctly installed and it is valid for the simulator (i.e. it has been installed as per the AIG and FSLTL guidelines) then that model/livery should show in the simulator based on the FS Traffic schedules. The model does not need to be installed in the FS Traffic folders.

Yes, here is a photo, I have the planes installed in the community folder. Do they need to be in the FSTL folder where FSTL installs it's models ?? As for AIG, does it have to be the same for AIG ??

@CapturingBearing2024 Thank you for the screenshot. It looks like the quotation marks and other punctuation in the "Title=" entries will be preventing the FS Traffic module from finding those aircraft.
If you remove the punctuation from either side of each entry, that should fix the issue. For example, for the Air France 777-200 livery at the top of your list, try inputting that entry again as:
FSLTL_TFS_B772_AFR-Air France

I finally got it working, Is AIG and IVAO models the same way to install more liveries ??

@CapturingBearing2024 Great to hear you got it working! Yes, that process will be the same for all Ai models from different suppliers.
