    Dear JustFlight team,

It seems there is a high FPS drop every time I am trying to land this aircraft. Those drops are so massive that I am not even able to fly the aircraft, it is like 1 frame per 2 seconds.... what is happening? can you please correct this bug as a priority, because it is literally making your addon unusable... every time I am just stopping my flight on short final, frustrated by those drops.

    Thanks,
    Alex

@alexetz Probably not a bug. A high-fidelity plane will demand more from your system. I don't have any bad issues with it, but I will get a few stutters at my large third-party airports. You might try lowering the LOD's some, till things are improved.

Also if you have rolling cache on, try deleting and then disable it. I had AWFUL pauses at many airports within 10nm and as soon as I did that they disappeared. YMMV

@b3lt3r That does work but there is a downside. If you are data limited by your provider watch your usage. I fly a lot of the same routes and with rolling cache off I use 4 times the data per day. My normal daily is about 15 gig. With rolling cache OFF it will be about 55 gig. Flying everyday like I do that can bite you if you are not careful.

Fair enough - these days I tend to forget some still are saddled with caps...

Every now and then, I have a flight in the F28 where the FPS just tanks and becomes unrecoverable. Even flying over water and having no photogrammetry makes no difference. There is something wrong, but I don't know exactly what triggers it. Most of the time the plane does fairly well on FPS. The weird part is that none of my systems are maxed out when it happens. RAM, CPU, even GPU are all still fairly low usage.

Using Rolling Cache by chance ?
Clear it or even deactivate. I switched it OFF loooong time ago and don't see those issues....

@jetnoise I turned it off, but it did not fix the issue in flight, so if that was the cause, the only way to know for sure is if the problem doesn't return.

What I can't remember is whether I had the cache on or off the last time this happened.

Devs told me to avoid using the WX RADAR even in STBY, and it works. fFPS are still unstable, but at least it is flyable now :)
