I know people will argue and say controllers won’t say anything, but 28,000/27,000, depending on direction of travel. This is to comply with RVSM limitations because the F28 did not have an altimeter fine enough for the 1000’ separation requirements. Also, 30,000 feet was it’s maximum altitude without option equipment. So my argument is again, I won’t file for higher than 28,000

    The F28 training manual states:

The fuselage is pressurised from the cockpit to the rear pressure bulkhead to a maximum of 6.55 p.s.i. (7.45 p.s.i. optional) pressure differential.
This allows for a maximum flight altitude of 30,000 ft (35,000 ft optional)
while maintaining the cabin at a pressure altitude of 8,000 ft.
