Both HSI's bound to selected radio

    Having a single HSI makes VOR to VOR tough, doable. Did the real aircraft's HSI's accept only a single signal? Was this done for performance reasons?

    @rbringh Yes, we've simulated it exactly as per the real aircraft and the explanations in our PDF manual are as per the real world manuals. I'm not sure of the reason for that though!

    You can use the APPR/DUAL mode on the glareshield to make VOR to VOR more manageable though.

    I am not sure - but should not G/S warning (comparator) be on with different ILS freq tuned and approach engaged?
    Please do not waste time on digging deep into this - just curios......

    As far as I understand it, the comparator warnings are only used to indicate a failure, so they would never illuminate during a normal flight.

    For example, the GS comparator would illuminate if you had the same frequency tuned into the VHF NAV 1 and VHF NAV 2 radios and the NAV 1 radio was indicating that you were below the glideslope, and the NAV 2 radio was indicating that you were above the glideslope.
