    Hi everyone,

I just bought and downloaded the Warrior for MSFS.
When I click the installer it briefly shows the "preparing InstallShield..." window, but then disappears completely.

I already tried launching it as an admin, redownloading, saving it somewhere else (directly on C) without any success.
I also added the .exe as an exception to BitDefender and tried disabling the Antivirus.

Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong? I have many addons from other vendors and this is the first time I am facing this issue.

I noticed it does extract some files into the local app data temp folder.
My guess is it has problems opening the web page for license validation or something.

I also opened a support ticket with JustFlight.

    Thank you for any ideas

Windows Event Viewer shows this error:

I have not heard back from support.

Is there a way I can just get a refund?
I can’t install the aircraft and got the A2A Comanche yesterday so I really don‘t need the Warrior anymore.

I'm certain you've solved this now @Randy, but if not (and for others who've the same issue), there are two solutions, try the first one, THEN the second one:

Solution 1 (mainly for Windows 10)

            Open Windows Security
Click on "App & Browser Control"
Click on "Reputation Based protection" - Deactivate all of the options there
            Click on BACK
Click on "Exploit protection" - Deactivate "Control Flow Guard" and "Data Execution Prevention"
Restart Windows - and then the Installation worked for me.

Note; I downloaded the file from the website before these protections were removed, just to be safe.

Don't forget to reactivate all those options after you've installed.

Solution 2: (mainly for Windows 11)

            Open windows security
            App and Browser control
            Go to Exploit protection settings
Click on the Program settings tab
Click the [+] next to Add program to customize
            Choose exact file path
Browse and select the .exe file for the installer

Once the file is setting a new window opens. Select "override system settings", and the radio button below it should be OFF. Do this for all the settings on this screen.

Now run the .exe installer file in admin mode and it should work

              @hjy

              THANK YOU

I had actually given up and never installed the Warrior.
I am on Windows 11 and your second solution fixed it for me!
I downloaded the installer again and still had the issue.

Wow - I might even pick up the 146 now!

              Thank you very much.
