Autopilot pitch selecter vs fight director adjust up/down?
-
Hi team,
I'm so happy the 146 is finally here on Xbox. It's been absolutely wonderful to learn to fly. Thanks for all the time and effort that went into this product.
I'm looking through the manual and there's a "MSFS Control assignment" section at the end that I had a question about.
There's two entries I'm confused on.
The "Flight director up/down" entry to my understanding is for basically controlling the pitch of the AP, let's say in V/S mode for example without having to sync, generally I assume used for making small adjustments to the pitch without having to sync adjust it. This is the button next to the AP master switch on the aft console if I'm understanding correctly.
What's the autopilot pitch function for the? The way it's bound makes it seem as though it's basically just another name for the trim as the control assignment assigned to it is the same you'd use to trim the aircraft, is this correct?
AP pitch selector is worded as if it would be the pitch button on the center console that's near the AP master, but that's not the case as that function is mapped to the FD up/down, correct?
Thank you so much,
Greg.
