    Does anyone know what the small yellow diamond symbol (currently located below the MAG lettering) does?
    Is it a direction to track for the next waypoint?

        Might be drift angle pointer but worth checking with JF support.

          Pretty sure it's an RNAV bearing pointer, so it should give you basic heading information to your next GPS waypoint

            @lancealotg

            ...Yeah I'll go with Rnav too... makes sense as there is only one cdi needle being analogue and we have the GPS and VOR that can both drive the autopilot NAV.

              Going to open a ticket soon.

                @lancealotg You have to way for flying: per VOR or HDG or RNAV. This pointer shows you the next navigation waypoint if you have programed your route in the FMC. If you select VOR NAV you will navigate with the VOR and HDG and the pointer willshow you the next programmed waypoint. If you fly with RNAV the HSI will agree with the diamond showing you the deviation from the navtrack.
