Landing practice in MSFS?
-
Hi all,
Quick question: The BAE 146 doesn't work for me for landing practice in MSFS from the main map page when selecting to start with an approach to a runway. When the scenario starts the plane is at altitude and powered, but all four engines fail/power off.
Is this intentional? Some devs do say that their planes can't be used for approach practice from the main screen (ex: PMDG 737 and Fenix). Or is there a setting I'm missing?
Thank you!

@iiari yes, it looks normal, but Devs can provide accurate information, engines do take a bit of time to start. What you can do is spawn a bit further from the airport, say 30-40 nm away instead of 15-20 and then select ready for take off state in the efb. And that should start your engines automatically, then you can take your plane to landing configuration and land.

I noticed when loading a flight in the air and the engines are off, it usually helps to restart the flight or load the same flight again. For me it always fixed the problem that the engines don't start. Maybe it is related to state saving, which I have enabled in the EFB options.
