SU12 has brought numerous fixes when it comes to the simulator AI traffic.
I wanted to know if the current version of FS Traffic is fully compatible with the update and if any FS Traffic upgrades are planned soon.

@digfs Hello, we squeezed in some minor changes in the last update to ensure compatibility. There are some known issues outside of our control, the biggest one being that aircraft are landing 1/3 to 1/2 of the way down the runway.

We are still working on improving functionality as well as the addon to the fleet pack.

@digfs Quite frankly, SU12 did not impress me regarding traffic. For my first SU12 flight, I have seen plenty of Go-arounds, mid-runway landings and planes passing 200ft above the airports, across the runways, or buzzing the tower . And they still land like flying saucers ! A bit disappointing in my experience.

I am using AIground and AIFlow and that helps a lot imo.

@elpix It certainly isn't the update to the core traffic system we were hoping for.

@elpix I too have noticed what appears to me to be an increase in go arounds since SU12, though it may be my imagination. I’ve also noticed aircraft landing 1/3 and 2/3 down the runway as the JF staff member mentioned above.

Also, it seems ATC approach instructions have not improved. I was told hold at 9000 ft 10 miles from ESSA, on approach to runway 26. Well, at least the crack in that runway has gone. How long did that take them to remedy? 😱
