No traffic at destination airport
-
@elpix It does sound like the FS Traffic module may be crashing at some point. Do you know how to open up the dev mode toolbar? Through that we will be able to tell for sure if this is the case.
-
@elpix When you do, you should see a toolbar at the top. You need to go to debug-console. This will open up a load of messages displayed in a table.
At the top there is a search box, if you type in FS Traffic you'll be able to see the traffic module doing its stuff.
It may look like mostly gibberish but the important thing is that FS Traffic continues to spit out these messages. If it stops doing that at any point then its likely your module is crashing for some reason. The next thing would be to see if we can find a pattern that can tell us why this is happening.

@jf-john Hi John. Lately I was able to do 4 or 5 flights without a glitch, FS Traffic performed very well.
Now I just completed a flight that ended with no traffic at arrival airport ESSA. Departure was OK and enroute flights were visible all the way, but no airplane on the ground at ESSA.
Then 2 airplanes arrived after me at the gates and I noticed on the VFR map there were plenty of them all at the same spot than me, not visible on the scenery but only on the map. Very strange... Here are the captures:

@elpix
10h40 was my local time of arrival at ESSA so there should have been a lot of planes around (my setting is 90 minutes before dep)@elpix Hello,
That's looks like you replicated a known issue with MSFS. It affects the other traffic programmes too. Basically all of the traffic is spawning at the airport reference point for some reason.
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fixed-live-traffic-planes-getting-stuck-at-the-center-of-the-airports-not-fixed/556838/58They probably do exist as models but are located somewhere in the terminal. In testing we rarely see this issue so I still suspect something else may be stopping you seeing traffic at other times. Traffic should start to spawn at your destination within 40nm of the airport so keep an eye on your VFR map at this time, you will see them spawn one every second.
Thank you
