Happened again today when landing at EDDL. This time I had "confirmed" the destination 2 times: when taxiing out of my departure airport (LSZH) and again during climb before cruise. At EDDL: no planes around nor on the ground. Not a soul

Here too. I start out the flight fine, select ICAO from menu bar and set-up as described in set-up video. No traffic enroute or at destination airport(s). reinject traffic via tool bar as described. Still no traffic. Have to reboot from desktop to get traffic back.

Just to let you know (JF Staff are you still there ?) after multiple flights it seems that 'confirming' the destination ICAO works best after departure (usually I do it during climb phase now). For some reason, when you do it on the ground before taking off it sometimes (not often) does not work.

Actually it happens everytime since 1.0.4..... If the next Version wont fix it i will open a Paypal Casefile for a refund because of a non working software title no matter what the outcome is at least they are being flagged for future the more it happens the sooner they will get in trouble...

@elpix It works every time for me. But I usually forget to confirm until up in the air. So I think I am proving your point.

Hit or miss for me, but overall not bad. Frustrating the bugs are still getting worked out for sure, but I think it's getting better?

@Elpix The good thing though: I changed my destination during flight in the ingame menu and it worked!
I have overflown my original destination with arrival and departing traffic, I opened the ingame menu, changed my destination to a different one, I had to click on "remove traffic" and then to "regenerate traffic" and then I had arrival and departing traffic at my new destination! Excellent!
                  Thank you JF.

                    @elpix Hello,

Sorry to hear you're still having issues.

It shouldn't make a difference whether you set the destination on the ground or after departure a however I don't want to dismiss your findings as placebo without getting hold of your console logs.

The best thing to do is send a ticket to support. At this stage its really difficult for us to diagnose individual problems without getting hold of that vital info. Support will give you instructions on exactly what we need.

@jf-john Thanks John but I did submit a ticket on that subject on march 12 (# 71100) but did not receiver any answer.

I am aware that intermittent problems like this can be very hard to diagnose, thats why I posted last status here. I hope it will help.

@jf-john still encountered the problem upon arrival at LEBL (3rd party scenery). Trafic ok at departure and enroute. I noticed ther was no more traffic at about 40-50 miles from destination. Absolutely nothing at LEBL (no static, no moving, nothing).

At LEBL, I tried to confirm again destination, also tried to "clear traffic" and "regenerate traffic".... absolutely no change.

Pls dont tell me there is no bug here. It is not an object limitation from MSFS since it is concerns only FS traffic and the whole of it, but not the rest of the animated objects around. For me it is obvious that FS Traffic is unable to 1) read the flight schedule under certain circumstances, or 2) generate traffic into MSFS.

                        Please investigate

@elpix It does sound like the FS Traffic module may be crashing at some point. Do you know how to open up the dev mode toolbar? Through that we will be able to tell for sure if this is the case.

@elpix When you do, you should see a toolbar at the top. You need to go to debug-console. This will open up a load of messages displayed in a table.

At the top there is a search box, if you type in FS Traffic you'll be able to see the traffic module doing its stuff.

It may look like mostly gibberish but the important thing is that FS Traffic continues to spit out these messages. If it stops doing that at any point then its likely your module is crashing for some reason. The next thing would be to see if we can find a pattern that can tell us why this is happening.

@jf-john Hi John. Lately I was able to do 4 or 5 flights without a glitch, FS Traffic performed very well.

Now I just completed a flight that ended with no traffic at arrival airport ESSA. Departure was OK and enroute flights were visible all the way, but no airplane on the ground at ESSA.

Then 2 airplanes arrived after me at the gates and I noticed on the VFR map there were plenty of them all at the same spot than me, not visible on the scenery but only on the map. Very strange... Here are the captures:

Note the almost empty airport. There are only 2 or 3 other planes that landed after me.

10h40 was my local time of arrival at ESSA so there should have been a lot of planes around (my setting is 90 minutes before dep)
