AP always disconnects at one point in Flight plan

I am not sure why it's happening, but in level flight, cruise speed, if the FMC calls for a sharp turn from one waypoint to the other, the AP disconnects. Usually this happens when a STAR is attached to the last waypoint in the flight plan, causing some sharp angles in the flight plan. Since I cannot set the turn rate, I don't know what may be causing this, and if so, if there's a tweak in the cfg that might correct it.
