I've never signed up to be a beta tester, from what Derek says it looks like they have released this update before they intended to!
Nothing so exciting. We switched it live because it is the best way to test whether it works for actual customers rather than the development team. We do it with all updates but it is rare that anyone would be looking in their account for that hour or so. Once an update or patch is given the thumbs up we update the changelog in Support and compile and send an eshot to all the buyers - see note above about unsubscribes and transactional email.

@brokenbroccoli
Hi,
You can use the Export Template button to save the changes you've made to the VMR file to somewhere safe, and then reimport them after the update using the Import Template button. -

I hope the bug that causes ATC to phonetically spell out callsigns rather than saying them has been fixed. It is quite annoying to listen too, especially when the callsign is long.
However, I am enjoying the product, and have not experienced the lack of traffic at destinations that others seem to be experiencing. Once it's been polished a little I am sure it's going to be a very popular addition to FS2020This first update is very much focussed on resolving the crash-to-desktop issues people were having with conflicting software. Hopefully this update has gone a long way to addressing those and we can now switch our attention to issues like the callsigns and general traffic generation bugs.

@nick
We would suggest uninstalling the current version first, manually removing any remaining files and then installing the new version.Thanks. I actually gave it a go just installing over older version and it removed all the old stuff automatically first. Seems to have updated ok and is working. Cheers.

Can we just install 1.0.2c over the top of 1.0.1rc, or does it require an uninstall first? Thanks.
I installed the new over the old. The new uninstalls the old files itself anyway before installing the new.
Yeah I did that and it's fine. Cheers.
