So I've tried to create some custom flightplans with my own custom textures, and most things work except that no textures show up on the aircraft, instead it's just a purplish checkerboard that shows up (Which is MSFS way of displaying missing textures). I've quadruple checked that everything is correct in the flight plan manager, aircraft manager and the aircraft texture folder but so far no luck in getting the texture to show. Maybe somebody on here can enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong? Because I'm at a loss for what to do right now...

@truelz I've found that after you've added your custom texture folder (i.e. texture.RVN), you then need to update the layout.json file in the root of the fleet folder so Flight Sim can load your files.

I also had the pink texture before doing this step, assuming you copied an existing texture folder and updated the texture file you can just copy a texture block in the layout.json file and edit the path & file sizes. So in the image below, copy the set of lines marked and paste immediately below, change WJA in the newly pasted lines to RVN and update the file sizes - you should then be able to load up MSFS and see your custom texture.
