Evidence that flight plan database often doesn't match sim
-
I posted earlier about the many bugs I have found with FS Traffic during extensive testing the past 2 days, and so have decided to post a couple of images to try and get some clarification about timings and the mismatches between what's in the sim and what the db says.
- Image below is 9AM, Friday, Liverpool (EGGP)
- 3 AI Aircraft (the other Ryanair in middle is me)
- Image below is the FS Traffic Control Centre
- Flight plans for EGGP on a Friday are shown (the red circle are the only two aircraft I would expect between 9am and 10:30am based on my settings of 90 mins from 9am in the options)
My question is, why is there a Ryanair there, and why did it take off first at 9:05am if it shouldn't even be visible in that timeframe? Yes, I can see it had a departure due at 8:30am, but why is it included from 9am plus 90 mins instead? What's more bizarre is that there isn't even a flight scheduled at 9:05am in db.
Incidentally, 9:25am came and went and one of the Easyjets that was supposed to depart for Krakow (according to the db) didn't do so until 9:36am. If this is to resemble flight delays then I am ok with that and it's pretty cool if it's intended (can anyone from Just Flight confirm this?)
I see so many examples of this, and just wanted to show a very simple one to prove the point that I and many folk are making.

If you let Just Flight Support know about this we can look into it. FS Traffic is newly released and, ideally, we would like to get any bugs (or possible bugs) reported asap. If you raise a support ticket we can track it and either fix it or explain why it is designed to do whatever it does.

so it seems to me after some further watching the traffic at EDDL that the schedules do match the shown traffic, but seems there are random delays with the schedules. for example if you compare the schedule with aircraft information you see in littlenavmap, the right aircraft with the right livery starts taxiing fromt he gate, just not at the specified time in the schedule.
