Quick Fix for No Traffic
-
Here is what has been working for me...
-
Close MSFS.
-
Navigate to C:\Users<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages
-
Then delete everything in the "justflight-fstraffic-module" folder.
-
Start MSFS and it will rebuild those files and should work properly.
I've successfully loaded into 3 airports in a row. It didn't work when I tried loading into the 4th airport, so I had to start the above process over again to get it to work.
Until there is a fix, I would recommend deleting the contents of that folder before you start each time.

If you contact Just Flight support they should be able to look into this. There is a link on the website www.justflight.com

Funny how its the paying public who have to try and find these solutions. And @Derek you keep popping up all over the place asking for tickets to be raised. We are mate, numerous tickets, ive submited 5 already but not one reply, not one announcement to say hey we hear you, we are onto it, nothing to recognise any issues and certainly for the many asking for a refund because they feel their money has wasted, silence.
-
You'll receive a reply from our Support Team today, rest assured. Not sure why you've not received a reply as yet but be aware there's nothing sinister behind that. I think it might be down to volume of tickets, the varied nature of them and the team looking to plan how best to deal with the tickets after discussing various options with the Development team. You will be responded to today and if you received the initial auto-reply from the system that's evidence that the ticket is delivered to us.
Apologies for the delay. I understand it’ll be frustrating for you but you won’t be ignored or pushed to one side, rest assured.
Thanks.

@seth2413 Same thing here, no reply after two tickets. They are saying this program has been "extensively tested by a large beta team" or "this issue is not affecting the majority of users" somewhere else.
So two questions coming to my mind based on the two statements above. A: Have they been able to reproduce this issue yet? and B: If this is done, are they working on a fix?
The way Just Flight is replying is like there is nothing wrong with their software and if the minor people (just check all the forums like MSFS, VATSIM, Just Flight, etc. to see how minor they are!) have any issues, open a ticket so they can investigate. I believe a general update to everyone would be really nice! -
Sorry you are having to wait so long for a reply, but we have had a large volume of tickets over the weekend and we are currently sorting and categorising them into the type of problem, removing duplicate tickets and seeing how best to fix problems for the individual customers. A particular issue might require a patch or update, but, if you take the top of this thread as an example, a patch won't solve issues for everyone - mookie261's fix doesn't work for dude but does work for hhalo. NB - that's why we don't do forum support.
Rest assured the software creates departure, cruise and arrival traffic. Some issues may be fixed by simply referring the customer to an FAQ. Some may be caused by interactions with other software (objects, airports etc). However, others may be more complex and I have already seen a couple where customers seem to have random/intermittent issues, which are the most difficult to pin down.
Once again, our apologies for the delay and we will reply to everyone that has raised a ticket as quickly as possible. -
@derek Thanks for the reply! However, in your example, mookie261's suggestion cannot be considered as a fix as it is a workaround. Even if it works for me, I'd still require a fix. That being said, I still don't know whether your team could have reproduced the issue or it works just fine for you. And please don't get me wrong as I don't want to question the transparency here. Just need a brief update. In any case, I'd wait for your reply to my tickets.

Agreed, but if a clever person wrote a script to do that and sent it out as a fix there would be some disappointment :-) It is definitely not a soution, but it does point to either a different problem between the two users (despite similar symptoms) or (more likely) a difference between their setups which is why we wanted to direct everyone to Support.
