@bpfonteyn I did not use FS traffic in my FSX days but if it supported GA there is hope Justflight will implement it at one time.
FS Traffic has a lot of freeware competition right now which is good but where it really could have an edge over these is GA. Especially since lots of simmers fly GA regularly if not mostly, the lack of believable GA traffic is very noticable.

Yes, agreed. I like to fly out of Farnborough and Blackbushe when I fly GA. Those airports are empty at the moment, even with default FS2020 traffic.

@monkeypants I doubt that's an option since FS Traffic relies on an external traffic injector.
Just the models and liveries could be added in the MS Marketplace to use with the built-in traffic module.

@allard I suspect it would be possible, for example Vessels Global Shipping by Seafront simulations have no problem injecting their ships for Xbox since last year.

@monkeypants But these are BGL based, as is the default offline traffic.
Probably a BGL with static flightplans could be generated and used instead of the current "traffic injectors' that AIG, FSLTL and FS Traffic are using but it wouldn't be as flexible as these injectors.
it would have the advantage of being simpler for the end user (nothing to configure) and still create believable traffic in the virtual skies.

We don't use an external injector for generating traffic with FS Traffic. Everything is done "internally" via the traffic module and supporting files. There is a element of control via the Traffic Control Centre(TCC), but that is primarily for adjusting static elements such as the flight plan data and various other options that are loaded by the module at the start of a flight.
Generating realistic traffic without an external injector certainly has its challenges, but it was an important goal considering what we knew about the requirements and limitations of being able to deliver everything via the official Package system.
As such we'd very much like for a version of FS Traffic to appear on both the PC & Xbox Marketplace at some point.

I can't remember if we ever have officially announced it or not, but we'll be working on a separate GA pack for FS Traffic later this year.

Is there a preset list of upcoming models/liveries JustFlight plans on developing and an Estimated Time of Release for them?

This is the list of aircraft that we are currently working on:

                  737Max 7, 8 & 9, 757-200, 757-300, 767-300, A350-1000.

I can't confirm the livery list yet, but obviously we'll be covering as many operators as possible, and all of that will be included along with some other content as part of a free upgrade.

I would really love it if there were some way to export/import custom airlines and their associated flight plans/schedules. Right now it can be a bit of a hassel doing it manually when updating FS Traffic.

After 1.0.3, I must report that ICAO destination code still takes forever to appear in the in-game panel when we open it.

But I think anyway we should not have to open and confirm our destination in this panel since the information is already available and we too often forget this step which leads to arrival at empty airports and is very frustrating.

When you say “forever”, how long is it really?

Currently it seems to take me 10-15 seconds.

                              Hi,
For sure. That's something we want to address asap.

The menu runs its checks every 10 seconds. This value can be adjusted so that it checks more often, but that can come with a performance impact.

Could the VATSIM .vmr file be moved from the main installer file to the Fleet installer file? I don't use the AI traffic at all and only install the Fleet each time it updates so it I'd prefer not to have to install the main injector software just to get the file then uninstall it again (or provide a separate copy of the VMR on here perhaps)?

great to read that you are working on adding these aircrafts you listed.

any chance of the DH8C (for regional Widerøe-traffic in Norway as an example), MD-11 and cargo in general?

All traffic addons focus on airlines which is logical but in the proces General Aviation is forgotten. There was a GA-Traffic tool for FSX or FS9 that was quite good in creating believable traffic. It had options to avoid certain airports (like major hubs) and create both IFR and VFR flights including training flights and aircraft doing touch and go's around smaller airfields.
                                    FSX GA-traffic.PNG
One could choose which aircraft models to use but it would be nice if FS Traffic came with its own models of popular GA aircraft.

I have previously used FSLTL and was happy with it for parked aircraft and en route aircraft. Where it was found wanting was AI traffic moving around the airport, takeoffs and landings. I have now bought FSTraffic and have the following comments to make:

                                      Pros:

                                      • Planes AI moving around the airports is superb as are landings and takeoffs
                                      • Plane models are terrific
                                      • There is no separate program to set running off-sim to make it work

                                      Cons:

                                      • The necessity to have to exit and reload the sim if you want to change your departure airport and see aircraft (BIG CON)
                                      • If you need to divert then no aircraft at alternate airport
                                      • Unlike FSLTL FSTraffic seems to have many conflicts with third party add-ons. I frequently experience CTD and in one instance a complete reboot of the pc.

                                      Feature requests:

                                      • Cargo aircraft
                                      • GA traffic including bizjets
                                      • Faster pushbacks after spawning in
                                      • AI aircraft interacting with ATC
                                      • Updating and patching via Traffic Control Centre rather than having to visit website.

At the moment FSLTL is a far more stable product however if FSTraffic can sort out the fundimental issues plaguing it then it should become the gold standard.

@holymoly To this I would add that I think the hybrid FSTraffic + FSLTL scenario is what work best, if you are OK with live traffic that is.

FSLTL has an embedded function that prioritizes FStraffic models over their own.
FSTraffic has better and more diverse models (and more coming up) while FSLTL currently has more liveries and a better customer support (discord channel).

There are no Dash3,4 or SF3 sf3 models yet the schedules include them but those models point to DH8
my features would be to include the saab and dash models
Reason being is at smaller airports, some only have DH3 or
