Rapid GNS530W CDI Toggle

@hama But thats only a workaround for the moment.
I'm pretty sure the WT GNS will get the standard GNS when AAU1 finally arrives.
I only experienced this problem in the Warrior 2 and my Turbo Arrow, so I would appreciate a fix asap.
-
@xantrass i think i have found a solution.
Do have the GTN750 from pms50 inatalled, too?
If so, please go to the pms50 homepage, there you will find a hotfix for the GNS530 that solves the problem.
And of course we have to wait for an updated version of the GNS530 that fixes this permanently. -
@hama I don't have anything from pms50 installed.
-
@dguisinger ok, but maybe this patch solves your problem though.
-
@gabe777 I haven't found that to work. I can't reliably get it to land on one or the other when it "stabilizes". If I want GPS it inevitably stabilizes on VLOC. If I want VLOC, it decides its going to run in GPS mode. If I can't actually chose which one i need based on the current situation in the cockpit the plane is worthless for shooting instrument approaches.

I have found no solution to this. Uninstalling the WT GNS530 should not be one since it will become the default version.
Can we hear an update on this.
Thanks

Still occurs after the MSFS AAU1 update
-
@dguisinger I don't think much changed at all with the full AAU1 release compared to the last AAU1 beta we had. I imagine JF have fixed it with the upcoming PA28 updates. :crossed_fingers:
-
I had it after AAU1 too.
So i opened the content manager and saw that there are two GNS430/530 by Working Title listet now. So i uninstalled the older one (the one with the picture of the GNS), went to my community folder and deleted the fix from pms50.
After this the standard GNS worked as it should. -
@europa27 I hope so, I haven't seen any indication that JF is working on an update. The last thing I saw from them from last year was Flight Sim changed so often they were holding off on updates.
This is actually stopping me from spending more money with JF on other aircraft. I need to see that they actually fix and maintain them....

Have a look here (second from last post):

@europa27 Oh, that is great news. I wish they would have published that more publicly. I am excited to see that update and then get the other PA28s
