Thrust on cruise

Hi there,
as I'm new to this jet: Is there any way to configure the plane to have my thrust levers stable on cruise? I have to constantly move them (though not by a big margin) to keep my plane from overspeed. Then I correct 1% and slowly lose speed. (But so much that I have to increase them again)
Is this because of the TMS? Can I turn it off to have each engine behave like I know it from other planes?

There is no autothrust on this aircraft. You’ll always have to manage the throttles.
In cruise i usually select sync mode. This keeps the engines N1 aligned and then you’ll have to find a setting for the speed you want to fly.
Instead of sync, you could also use tgt mode. This uses the temperature set on the panel as a reference.
In YT videos i saw usage of TGT mode during climb and Sync mode during cruise.Hope this helps you,

@andre92 Thanks for your replies. I know it has no autothrust. But no autothrust doesn't mean usually that I have to fiddle with the throttle at all. I guess it's because of the TMS then. I'll try those settings. I just want to set the throttle to e.g. 75% and forget about it till descent. That's how it works on a King Air or the TBM or the Twin Otter. Sure the speed will vary. But more like ~15 knots, not like 80.

I also struggle to keep the speed stable, so adjusting throttle 1 a little bit more or a little bit less (N1% sync set in TMS). Using the TGT option is better solution (more stable) for me during cruise. But in some (Northern) regions the TGT will be lower than 600°C, which you can not set in the TMS.
Nevertheless, the BAe is wonderful to fly ! -
The typical method to set cruise on the 146 with the TMS was SYNC #1 N1 & TGT modes both on.
You then dial in a cruise TGT - and the #1 engine would then go to that set EGT.
The other engines will now sync with the #1 N1 - avoiding harmonic irregularities in the cabin - and forgo trying to set the TGT.
The TGT between engines would be markedly different in some cases (particularly #1 & 4 vs 2 & 3) so using TGT sync only wasn't typical in cruise.
