When are we getting a improved FMS system

We're hoping to share a progress update on our custom UNS-1 FMS for the 146 within the next couple of weeks.
It's worth noting though that 'improved' and 'custom' are quite different things with regards to the FMS. The existing 146 FMS is based on a more modern design than the archaic UNS-1, so although our custom FMS will be more authentic to the 146 and will realistically simulate the UNS-1 functionality, you will find there is a trade-off between the two FMS'. That's why we plan to have the option to choose between the existing FMS, the new custom UNS-1 FMS or no FMS at all.
Just wanted to clarify that point in case anyone was expecting the custom FMS to offer a modern Airbus/Boeing type experience, which will never be the case in the 146 but more so in the upcoming RJ, which will feature a more modern custom FMS.

@martyn thanks, if you don't want to add a web server there is the freeware solution based on the CJ4 https://github.com/dementedmonkey/cj4-mcdu/issues/23 that works with the current version, if that could still work with the new one it should suffice.
Alternatively allowing it to work with 3rd party web server https://www.aviaworx.com/aviacdu would also be a solution. This would be mostly work on aviaworx side, as long as there is nothing blocking them from accessing the device. Alot are using that for 737 and CRJ CDU exports to web.

Quite happy to say it works flawlessly with the BAE 146's current CDU, it relies on the same functionality that allows it to show the screen over the web.
Please maintain the plan to keep the existing CJ4 style FMS as an option so that we can continue using the hardware with updates. Even better would be if the new FMS works over the web too :)

It really adds a lot to the sim experience imho and could be used for all future projects as well.Kind Regards,

They are on record stating that they will release the original one but retain the current one for those who want it.

Heya @Martyn have you got any more news on how the UNS-1 is coming along? Some friends have been asking about it and have been holding off on getting the 146 until it is ready (despite me saying they don't have to use the WT if they don't want to).
