I see in screenshots there's a cockpit with Garmin GPSs, but my cockpit doesn't have them. How do I switch to the cockpit with Garmin units?

@bluesymoo On the tablet, there is an 'Aircraft Options' section. Clicking on the GPS button (the second one down) cycles through the available options. If you have the TDS GTNXi and/or the PMS50 GTN installed, they will be available to you.

@richavery Thanks! I got the default 530/430 working. I guess there's no way to use the G1000?

@bluesymoo No, the only default GPSs you can use are the 530 & 430. The options in the tablet are the only ones available: GPS 100, GNS 530, GNSDual (i.e. 530 & 430), TDS GTNXi, PMS50 GTN.

As you said this is a "noob question", here's a bit more information...

PMS50 have a freeware version of their GTN unit which gives limited functionality and a payware version which provides a lot of functionality but is expensive; the TDS version is payware only and is a GTNXi. It's cheaper than the PMS payware but requires you to download the Garmin trainer.

PMS50 also do a good freeware mod to provide more functionality to the default GNS 530:
          https://flightsim.to/file/4700/gns530-mod
          https://github.com/pimarc/pms50-gns530
