Unable to monitor com 2

I'm having issues with transmitting and receiving com 1 while monitoring com 2. I have it set up to listen but I don't hear anything coming through that frequency. Com 1 transmits and receives just fine. I primarily play on the vatsim network so it's nice to utilize both coms. Is there a certain process that is needing to be done for it to work?

@x12eape12x Are you using the default radio configuration (KX170/KX175) or a GNS/GTN configuration?

@martyn its while using the gns configurations, it's just the right amount of digital for my liking
