    Hi,

New here. I can't find the answer to this question anywhere. That's why I registered on this forum.

How can I move the thrust levers manually to the ground idle position? I've disabled auto ground idle in the EFB settings tab.

      Anyone?

I meant to ask, do I just move the throttle on my HOTAS to the minimum or is there some other key command?

I'm asking because the manual differentiates between flight idle and ground idle. I don't know whether idling the throttle in flight before touchdown automatically moves the thrust levers into ground idle position after touchdown or does it require some other input?

        Hello BongoBear,
I think this question is asked by some. When I want to go into ground idle, I just pull the thrust lever all the way down. Whether that's right, I don't know.
In any case, you only use the thrust lever and no other buttons. The manual says that the thrust lever cannot move to ground idle unknowingly in flight. A lock prevents this. So if you push the lever all the way down in flight, you would have to stay in flight idle.
And when you land, the lever automatically goes to ground idle? I would also be interested in that. I think in the EFB you can set "automatic ground idle". Maybe someone here in the forum can explain this.

@bongobear With the auto option disabled on the EFB, you'll just need to bring the thrust levers back to the fully aft (idle) position after touchdown to select ground idle. If you already have your physical levers at the idle position, you might need to move them forward slightly before returning them to idle.
