Poor Climb performance and IAS issues after update
-
@st78bc Must tell you if you are, by change, using REX Weather Force, it has a bug on the temperature at high altitudes that doesn't let to achieve TGT higher than 650c and so, you should easily see 840c if you set it. They are aware of that bug that made me lose a lot of time. Use the weather from MSFS2020 for now.

The recent didn't include any changes that would cause an issue like this, and it's not something that we've encountered or seen reported. Can you submit a support ticket via the website so that we can investigate?
I’ve been seeing this recently too. If I engage IAS mode after the initial climb, it seems to try and ascend too quickly and drops speed, precisely the opposite of how it should function. I’ve had to use VS mode and keep adjusting the climb speed and thrust to keep to 220 knots, even though it should be able to climb at 250
This is the 300 model btw.
Edit: will submit a support ticket

Dumb question from me: I too have perceived a (slight) decrease in performance and just wondered if it related to the high temperatures in Europe (where I almost exclusively fly) this summer? I think on the one or two days I managed to find clouds or even rain it was better but will not swear to that.

@b3lt3r That could explain it given the lack of changes to performance from our perspective. I fly with live weather, often with a heavy 300QT, and have found performance a struggle at times during these summer months. High temperatures and altitudes have a significant impact, just like on the real aircraft.

@b3lt3r I don’t think this is my issue. Mine is that in IAS it doesn’t hold a speed, it just tries to keep climbing faster and faster (like 2500 f/m) and loses speed. If I had poor performance due to heat I’d expect IAS to just leave me climbing slowly.
