NAV1 not receiving VOR
-
Hey there,
I've had the problem that I couldn't receive a VOR signal with the PA28 Turbo IV. Unfortunately I only tested this with one VOR (STR - Strasburg - 115.600). In the past I could receive VORs.
The ILS for Strasburg-Enzheim next to the VOR could be received without problems.
Could this be a Piper problem or rather an Asobo problem? I've installed Navigraph Navdata.
Cheers,
Phil -
I've only tried it with the Piper so far as I wanted this plane to work.
I'll test the frequency you mentioned, thanks for the hint. I'm quite sure that in the past the frequencies mentioned on charts (Jeppessen / Lido) or from Skyvector or SkyDemon did work, especially when using Navigraph nav data (as it does with ILS frequencies).I'm a bit confused that this frequency is quite different. I don't really like to use the in-game map because of the immersion, which would be the only way to get the sim frequencies as far as I've read.
Cheers,

@phil7789 Trying a different aircraft is often a good first step to determine whether it's the aircraft at fault or not.
The different frequency could be an Asobo error. If you use the GTN 750, the waypoint info function will give you the correct in-game frequency for the STR VOR.

That indeed would've been a smart idea :D
I assume this could be more on Navigraphs side as they also implement VORs as far as I've know / seen it. I double checked my content.xml and the fs-base-nav is disabled while only the Navigraph data is active.Right now I'm flying without a glass cockpit at all, but thanks for the tip. I might "quick switch" mid-flight if I'm running into similar problems again.
I've succesfully tested 115.05 for the STR VOR so thanks again for that :)

I hadn't thought of that. I'm using Navigraph as well so you could be right there.
