Ground effect on landing, is this a normal behaviour, I´m with maybe 115/120 knots on threshold, idle and deploy speedbrakes, the 146 flows endlessly and/or driftes to one side of the runway hard to recover at final touchdown. I wouldnt say It is impossible, I had 4 flights so far, and landing was mostly ok, but the big ground effect is there-

@sparrows69 I am not experiencing this. Quite the contrary. With airbrake deployed when passing threshold and Vref speed when I flare and retard throttles and keep it for too long it will quickly slam into the runway - no floating issue.

@sparrows69 Hmmmm, interesting. Whenever I deploy the airbrakes across the threshold the thing drops like a rock since the airspeed does bleed fairly quickly. I've done about 12-15 landings since I've gotten this plane. (kinda lost count since I've been doing a lot of circuits touch and goes...)

I've now got airbrake and spoiler deployment sorted and I can normally touchdown "well enough" in terms of alignment and rate.

Where I tend to have an issue is after the maingear is down, the nosewheel does not want to drop and pitch down is very ineffective. I've recorded my landing and the speed, flare and touchdown looks ok but the nose will start to rise requiring me to push forward hard and brake harder that I'd prefer to get 3 wheels down.

I'm going to do more circuits at EGNT and play with my pitch curves to make sure pitch down is not attenuated.
