Version 1.2 - Not compatible with FBW A32X
-
I've flown at least a dozen flights over the past few days with increasing confidence, but tonight, I am suddenly unable to start the engines. I'm using the same checklists, clean Community folder (as clean as it can be - more on that later).
As a last ditch effort, I tried selecting "Ready for TO" on the pad. It was also unable to start engines. They spool up normally, but when you flick the fuel switch under the throttle, there is no ignition.
The one thing that is more difficult to remove was the FBW A32X (Dev version). I went ahead and removed it. Tried the BAe146 again, and it works!
So there is something about FBW and this plane that don't like each other. Thought this might be useful for others...

I have the FBW32NX dev build and no problems with the BAE146. Try doing a clean install of the same build. Also make sure you have compatible liveries.
Noted that the engines aren't started as they should be in Ready for TO mode.

@dreadnought1906 I do not have the FBW A32X installed, but I frequently experience the same issue. So don't think they are related. I believe you just got lucky after uninstalling it.
I have to go back to menu, and sometimes restart the sim, to be able to start the engines. The engines are also shutting down when I hit "esc" to ex. change my controls. Hope this is something that will be fixed soon, cause it's driving me nuts. But when it works, it's pure joy. But my engines will not start, or suddenly stops, about 50-70% of the time.

@dreadnought1906 Found a possible solution in another thread. If you have setup Mixture on your joystick/HOTAS (as I have), the engines can shut off if mixture is set to lean. The solution is to remove mixture from the joystick or set your mixture to full rich before starting engines. I have not tested this myself yet, but it has solved the problem for others.
