Flaps
-
I have a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog and I set the Flaps lever at the throttle to increase flaps (button 23) and decrease flaps (button 22). Yet, flaps do not increase/decrease incrementally but rather increase/decrease 100%. How can I set the incremental option for flaps?
Thanks

@egajet Check the CONTROLS OPTIONS screen to insure that button 23 is assigned to the command INCREASE FLAPS, not EXTEND FLAPS. This should increase the flaps only one increment each time the button is pressed... If it still doesn't work right, try assigning the command to a different button to see if your button 23 is possibly defective.

@retiredman93231 Many thanks for your reply!
That is my issue...I do have button 23 to INCREASE FLAPS and button 22 to DECREASE flaps and these buttons do work in another aircrafts!. Will investigate it further.

@egajet On the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Throttle you have button 22 and 23 available for flaps.
I see what you are saying, on that Thrustmaster throttle and with Button 23, it doesn't just increase flaps one step to 18, it goes all the way to 33. That is if you do one click down and don't move it. That is with it linked to increase flaps in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
It doesn't matter if you if you click it down once and don't move it it continues all the way to 33 with increase flaps as the setting.
Just an alternative you can use buttons 13 and 14 on the left of the left throttle. If you click it down once and return to centre quickly, it will do only one step to 18. You can then control it. If you want to go all the way you just don't return it to centre. It will then go all the way to 33. It may be easier to move that button back and forth.
You can achieve exactly the same thing with button 22 and button 23 you just need to return it back to centre quickly if you don't want to go all the way from 18 to 33. To stop at 18 return to centre quickly. Click down once and straight back to centre.
In that way you have increase flaps, decrease flaps and extend flaps, retract flaps all in one with the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog.
