Cannot Start the Hawk
-
Was working OK a few weeks ago but having come back to it now and cannot start the engine. Followed procedure, Throttle on stop, and with green GTS light on, moving engine start switch to on, there is no rotation. Pressing the relight with throttle on stop or on 0%, the rotation light gets lit, but there is no rotation, and goes out when button released. Also will not start from quick menu, and nothing running using ready for TO. I have tried removed and re-installed with same result. What am I missing?

@bradbrad If it won't start by selecting READY FOR TAKEOFF on the EFB, it is most likely a switch in the wrong position or configured incorrectly on your Joystick or Throttle Quadrant... I would look for any fuel valve / cutoff switch in the wrong position, including the aft detents of your throttle levers. The Joystick / Controller switches will override the cockpit switches.

Spot on, thanks for the info. I had made some additional switches active on my X55 throttle with another aircraft, so I disconnected it, and started the flight up without a throttle. The aircraft was running at the start of the flight. I tried cold and dark, ready for start and ready for TO and the start sequence worked as it should. Great thank you.
However, funny old thing. I reconnected the throttle with the idea to find what operation/switch was causing the problem, but, everything was back to normal!
Thanks for the steer as to where/what the issue may have been ,
