F-16 MSFS store version -- cockpit seems broken
-
I purchased the F-16 addon from the MSFS store.
Loaded in on the ramp supposedly configured for takeoff.
Engines are running, but avionics are all off. The avionics control panel and etc is not where it should be in a real Viper (near the OBOGS -- compare to real world manuals, or DCS/F4 pits).
Instead it seems one of the hardpoint switches has been relabeled as a "master avionics" switch -- and it's not responsive to toggling.
Another hardpoint switch seems to be repurposed to switch between batter power and main.
None of this is accurate, and worse none of it is working.
What's the deal?

I tried loading controller mappings with everything cleared but basic flight controls, and that fixed the problem in the basic sense. So if anyone else encounters this, the issue may be somewhere in your controller profile and default switch states.
Things are now working (although still not found where they should be, and are not accurately modeled in terms of switchology).

@deeaf Hi, these F-16s are not at all designed to be 100% accurate in terms of systems, but instead designed to work well within the MSFS architecture. We build more for the casual user than the "study level" user.
The flight model, however, is highly realistic as confirmed by real-life F-16 pilots, and actually exceeds that of the DCS version.
Glad you got the switches sorted.
