    Hi there,
Love flying this but i'm curious why i don't see any smoke from the engines when powering up? I see there is a smoke.exe file to use but this didn't seem to do anything for me.

    Is there something i'm missing?

    Thank you.

The smoke effects caused frame rate issues for some users so the Vulcan shipped with 'no smoke' as the default setting. There is a tool to switch it on - I think the details are in the manual.
There are some new smoke effects in the pipeline and these should be included in an update in due course.

        Hi Derek,

I have looked through the manual a few times and can't seem to find anything relating to the smoke.
I did run the tool which turns it on but still don't seem to see any in the sim.

Maybe it didn't make it to the manual, but there was definitely a tool to toggle the effects on and off. If you can't get it to work then it may be one for Just Flight support.

Yep there's a programme for the smoke in the main folder.... Also, not related to the smoke but it is related to the engines. Whenever I've started a flight in cold and mark the Fuel Pressure MIs on the main panel have always been white where as if I fly in the ready for takeoff set up then the MIs are black.

I follow the checklist completely each time but for some reason I can never get them to show black. Anyone had anything similar?
