As stated, the Hobbs meter reset. Is there a way I can manually input the approximate numbers for the different liveries? I think I have four liveries to count. Default Turbo III, default Turbo IV, and two aftermarket liveries.

@jmarkows So I got it to work, but with the update they added a folder to the simobjects folder called “airplanes”. In simobjects, all the planes I fly have a folder with one single file called state.cfg which only shows Hobbs information. All my Arrows in simobjects have the correct Hobbs info but when I just loaded the Turbo III, it shows 0.8. I found the airplanes folder which had one single JF_turbo_iii folder with the numbers 0.8xxx and 0.9xxx. Added the 73.5 I had in that plane for a total of 74.3, loaded the plane and all was good. I expect as I fly the other models I’ll have to do the same. Surprised no one else reported this.

@chivasrx Thanks, I'm seeing a similar thing with the Warrior. I changed the individual, but looks like I need to fix the generic one.

This is purely an Asobo thing, for some reason they reset all those files. Looking at some of the other planes, I'm seeing new lines that I don't recall seeing before, look at the pitts for example. Whatever this is "ASVigilus_Brightness=1"

I wonder though, if JF could include the hobbs inside the state saving, outside of the option of turning it on or off even. That may prevent this in the future, as then the hobbs would just get set to the saved value of the plane.

@weptburrito Nothing for me was reset. All of the correct numbers for Hobbs are in the simobjects folder. I’m no expert here, but what looks like happened, as I said, they added the “airplanes” folder to simobjects, and it seems this is where the sim is getting the data for the Hobbs meter now.

Is it possible that this issue is caused by uninstalling before running the update? Maybe updating without uninstalling will retain this information?

@sender46 Best I can tell, 0.3.0 overwrote the previous Hobbs, or got the information from the new 'source', 0.3.1 appears to use the same source, so it's not reset. I kept track of my hours so I just updated both locations to the current hours and it seems to be working well.

I must be dumb as well as ignorant. I have over 750 hours in the TA-IV which, I just noticed today are GONE! I checked this forum and went looking for folders called "simobjects" and/or "airolanes". File Explorer found them all right......dozens and dozens withe same name or different dates........am I supposed to look through each one with possibly not finding anything? I'm getting pretty old and don;t know if I;ve got enough time left to go through all of them. Is there some kind soul out there who'd be willing to hold my hand and lead me down the right path? I'm proud of those hours and want them back!
