Pilot Name Decal

Hi there,

Nice of you to add the Pilot Name Decal PSD file in version 1.1 but I can't find anything in the documentation that shows how to use it.

Haven't tried any repainting etc. in a long time so is it possible to point me in the right direction as to how to use this, please?

@martyn Many thanks - that helps indeed. I have Photoshop Elements so can do everything except saving the texture as a DDS with alpha transparency. Might have to hunt out the DXTBMP prog that I used to use to do this ... if I can recall where I saved it!

OK - I have tried this and couldn't see the pilot names. I have just switched back to the original file and can't see the names with that one in situ either.

Is there some other code needed to get this file to show in the Custom texture set, please?

@hjcurtis Is it just a blank red area where the names should be? There's no code required as the decal should be automatically loaded/shown whenever the Red Arrows 2021 custom livery is selected.

@martyn Hi there, indeed just blank red along the canopy rail.

@hjcurtis the pilot names are not along the canapy rail it lower mid noise area

Could someone please post a screen shot showing where these names appear, please? I had assumed the canopy rail but I have just fired up MSFS and cannot see them anywhere on the nose, unless they're inside a hatch that I haven't opened?
